For healthy living and lifestyle a daily multivitamin is great to ensure that you receive proper nutrition to stay healthy. It is also recommended that you can add vitamin D to the daily intake. The folic acid in a multivitamin can help prevent and lower the risk of colon cancer, breast cancer and heart disease. If you add vitamin D and some multivitamins do contain vitamin D, but you can add the two together daily for lowering the risk of many other cancers, including colon cancer. As with anything else, it is important that vitamin takers do not to go overboard, as with any other tablet a multivitamin and vitamin D can be harmful when you use too much. You must look at your health and diet in general and read properly what the tablets or syrup contain. Only when your diet does not contain enough folic acid is it necessary to take multi vitamin.
Vitamin A stimulates activity and the production of white blood cells, maintains endothelial cell’s health and regulates cell division and growth.
Vitamin C plays a big role in the control of vitamins and a very powerful antioxidant that neutralizes harmful free radicals, help to form collagen, blood vessels, teeth and gums.
Vitamin D can increase chronic diseases like heart disease, multiple sclerosis, some cancers, and osteoporosis as well as infectious diseases.
Vitamin K assists in making four of the thirteen proteins which the body needs for blood clotting. It is also very good for bone building.
Vitamin B has three and that is B6, B12 and Folate. Folate is great in prevention of birth defects. B6 and B12 are for heart disease prevention and all three are used for cancer prevention.
